DLDC also has the unique and exciting ability to offer real world entertainment experiences.   Artistic director Simon Lind brings opportunities to students who are serious about a career in the entertainment industry.  He is one of the countries leading choreographers.  Simon has formerly worked as resident choreographer on Australia’s Got Talent and X-Factor amongst many other corporate and television productions. Most recently Simon has presented the opportunity for hard working and talented students to be hand picked and paid to perform in the commercial world  for example, in television commercial productions, such as Channel 10’s I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here Promo TVC. This gives invaluable insight into the industry as it operates in today’s world.

In 2025 we are very excited to welcome the highly popular READY SET DANCE program (featured on Nickelodeon).  This represents an exciting training base for our youngest students aged 3-6 years.
